My designs are theme based on the 4 seasons.

There wasn't much reason to choose 'F' and 'Q' other than fact I want two letters, one having more edges while other more rounded.

Going from top, left to right, Spring -> Summer -> Autumn -> Winter

Spring having a more green feel to it. Its the season that everything feel fresh.

Summer have a more yellow/orange feel due to the hot burning sun, and our beach.

Autumn is when leaves start to fall, red leaves and dry branches are all over the ground. It have a more dull yet reddish feel.

Winter is the season of the cool.  White snow, blue chilled land and dead wood.

Light sketch on concept idea for 4 seasons

The original try was to make a paradox continuation with closure element but it ends just a closure continuation.
My initial thoughts was to run a pipe in the middle to strengthen the paradox and it was purely going to be a path but in the end, it looks like 'Z''Z' together, one lying down, one standing up.

MC Escher

This is one of Escher's most famous work depicting citizens living in different gravity in the same space.

It is recognised and viewed artistically and scientifically. The space is still a possible 3D space with Conuation method of using the stair case for audience to view the piece of artwork.

The use of similarity on the citizen and objects yet viewing them close, there is a lot if difference and each having their own meaning.

This is another lithography work that is showing a paradox of water running downwards then reaching the top through visuals and down a waterfall to continue the loop.

This is an impossible object with the path of the water in at least two Penrose triangle. The path is locked by two sets of tower with an object on top that Escher have specially designed by intwiining the same shape together.

The picture is also filled with bizarre plants that have an eerie feel yet the citizens are just going on with their normal routine naturally.

Font assignment + Poster

Romaru is a font to be kept simple in mind. Letters following a strict pattern in shape. Letters are encased within a box while any elements within it or curves are all rounded.

The name comes from Japanese translation of these name. Ro or ロ in katakana is the shape of a box while Maru on the other hand is ◯ which is a circle. It is suppose to mean circle inside of a box.

The poster featuring the font consists of easy shapes like boxes circles and lines. It is suppose to show simplicity of the font and aesthetics to the eyes.
